The Sons of Liberty had its ninth annual Disabled American Veterans Run, which made over $2,000. “We as a riding club would like to thank all participants who gave, the riders, 50 bikes plus, the local clubs — Dom Polski, Moniuszko, World War II Vets, Northern Chautauqua Conservation and First Ward Falcons, all the people at VFW Post 1017 who helped out,” said Edziu Kaus, vice president. “Special thanks to our first responders, New York State troopers, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department, North East, Pa., police (Jeff), Fredonia and University Police Departments, Westfield Volunteer Fire Department and Police Department and last but not least, East Town VFW (Greg) and Dunkirk Police Department. Great job by all.”
