Jingle at the Rocks to again aid Toys for Tots
The CHQ Professionals Group, in partnership with the Dunkirk-Fredonia Rotary Club, has announced its fourth annual Jingle at the Rocks event, taking place on Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 64 on the Rocks at 64 W. Main St., Fredonia.
This festive holiday gathering will feature raffles, appetizers, an ugly sweater competition, music by DJ Gould, and networking opportunities for young professionals and all other community members. All attendees must be 21 or older. Admission is $10 with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy, or $20 without a donation.
“Jingle at the Rocks has grown every year, showcasing our community’s generosity and spirit. It’s always a fun event, but more importantly, it supports children in our community and highlights the power of collaboration between the CHQ Professionals Group and Dunkirk-Fredonia Rotary Club to make a meaningful impact during the holiday season,” said Leslie Wille, CHQ Professionals Group Co-Chair and Secretary of the Dunkirk-Fredonia Rotary Club.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, helping spread holiday cheer to children and families in need throughout the community. In 2023, over 100 community members attended to help raise $2,200, while also collecting over 150 toys.
“Jingle at the Rocks is more than just a celebration; it’s a chance to come together and make a real difference for children of Chautauqua County. As the need continues to grow, every donation and every effort matters more than ever.
By sharing the joy of the season, we’re helping to ensure that every child experiences the magic of the holidays. Supporting Chautauqua County Toys for Tots through this event means so much to me and our community,” said Lauren Boyle, Toys for Tots Representative.
Event sponsors are still needed to help offset costs. Sponsorship levels of $500, $250, and $100 are available. To become a sponsor, contact Monica Simpson, CHQ Professionals co-chair, at CHQprofessionals@gmail.com or call (716) 363-3770 by Dec. 1, 2024.
“This is one of our signature events and we are so grateful to all organizations and businesses that collaborate with us to help make this a success,” Simpson said. “All proceeds from this event directly support Toys for Tots. Our sincere appreciation goes to our generous sponsors, enabling us to make even more significant contributions this year. We take pride in our ability to positively impact our community.”
