Top December students named at Brocton

Students of the month have been named for December at Brocton Central Schools.

Alice Hamlet has been selected as the Middle School student.

She is currently a sixth-grader and resides in Brocton with her parents, AnnMarie Hamlet and Edwin Hamlet. She is an active student who participates in the Swim Club and plays Little League Softball. Additionally, Alice is a dedicated member of both the Band and Chorus.

Her academic achievements include being named to the High Honor Roll, highlighting her commitment to excellence in her studies.

Outside of school, Alice enjoys embarking on outdoor adventures with her family, watching movies, and engaging in various crafts. Her favorite subject is Math, and she has aspirations of attending college to become an Orthodontist.

Colden Noody has been selected as the high school student.

He is the son of Brian and Brandy Noody of Pomfret. He is an active member of the Pep Band and Pit Band. Additionally, Colden is a member of the National Honor Society and is an Eagle Scout.

He is passionate about many hobbies, including playing the guitar. His accolades include being named to the High Honor Roll.

His favorite subject is Psychology. He is currently enrolled in JCC’s PEP program, taking Music Theory 1 and Aural Skills this semester, and he will continue on to the next level in these courses next semester.

In the future, Colden plans to attend JCC to receive an associate’s degree in Fine Arts. He hopes to pursue a graduate degree at SUNY Fredonia and aspires to work in the music industry.
