The Northern Chautauqua County Club Associates recently held its installation banquet at the Kosciuszko Polish Home on Nevins Street in Dunkirk.

Ray Rushbolt, serving as emcee, opened the event with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a moment of silence for deceased club members.

After an excellent meal, he introduced the members at the head table and guests, which included Dunkirk Mayor Kate Wdowiasz and her husband.

Guest speaker was Jim Fisher, who serves on the board of the Dunkirk Lighthouse. He spoke about the facility and its contents, and the beautiful view from the top of the lighthouse.

He mentioned that visitors are always welcome, and volunteers are very much appreciated.

Rushbolt then administered the oath of office to the following: Brian Schbeider, president; Pat Begier, vice president; Tom Halicki, treasurer; Jim Pryll, secretary; and trustees Dolores Maurer, Shane Boyle, and Edgar “Pinky” Ziegler.

Former president Joe Rozen was thanked for his many years of service and presented with a gift card from the Association.

The next regular meeting of the Club Associates will be held on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the Dom Polski Club.

Starting at $2.99/week.
