Scout cookie sales celebrated

Tri-County Girl Scout Troops 20163 and 22898, which consist of Daisies-Brownies with a few older girls in the troop, recently celebrated a successful cookie season with a pizza party and girls were given a certificate for a job well done. Girls had the honor of having Cara Biddlecom, the CEO of Girl Scouts of WNY, join their cookie celebration meeting. Troop 20163 sold 3,696 boxes of cookies this year which is over 1,000 more boxes they sold compared to last year. Troop 20163 had a secret shopper stop at one of their cookie booths and earned an ice cream party for completing a full card bingo during their booth sales. Troop 22898 is a first year Kindergarten Daisy troop that sold 678 boxes. Congratulations were offered to all the girls for their hard work on reaching their goals. Both troops would like to thank everyone who supported them in their sales and thank the following businesses for letting them have a booth sale: South Dayton Supermarket, Save A Lot in Silver Creek, town of Hanover for letting us set up on the Island in Forestville; Wendy’s in Fredonia, and Sheridan VFW.
