Ruby A. Crawford

Ruby A. Crawford, of W. Main St., Springville, died Monday July 2, 2018 at her home at the age of 68. She was born February 22, 1950 in Springville, New York a daughter of the late Leonard and Dorothy (nee Colby) Roth. She was a homemaker and held an Associates Degree from Erie Community College. She was an honorary member of the Concord Historical Society and was a former volunteer at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and the local cancer society.She is survived by her husband – Michael Crawford whom she married May 27, 1995; siblings – Carol Shepard of Bemus Point, Doris Grice of Freedom, Alice Klever of Collins, Elsie (Richard) Lomis-on of Gowanda, Nelson Roth of Springville, Martha Roth of Springville; sister-in-law – Beverly Thompson of Springville and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings – Fred (Hazel) Thompson, Hannah Kuhlman and Preston Thompson.Friends may call Thursday July 5, 2018 from 5-8 pm at Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville, where funeral services will be held Friday July 6, 2018 at 2 pm. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Springville.
