Michael J. Killion II, 30, of Dunkirk died unexpectedly Friday (Aug. 17, 2018) at Buffalo General Hospital.
He was born Jan. 27, 1988 in Dunkirk, the son of Michael and Kim Killion of Dunkirk and Cami Macakanja of Dunkirk.
A lifelong resident of Dunkirk, Michael was employed by Waterman Roofing Company in Dunkirk. During his years at Dunkirk High School he excelled in swimming and track. Michael had a heart of gold and contagious smile. That is how he will
always be remembered.Besides his parents, he is survived by two sons, Sylus and Maximus Killion; four siblings, Jessica (John) Fleisher of Oakland, CA, Jenica (Behzad) Behrouzi of San Francisco, CA, and Jeffrey Killion and Matthew Killion, both of Dunkirk; one niece, Campbell Fleisher; and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Karen Killion of Florida. Michael was preceded in death by his loving companion, Jaime L. Fuller, who died Feb. 26, 2018; and his maternal grandparents, Polly and Ronald Sobczak.Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock in the McGraw- Kowal Funeral Home. The Rev. Molly T. Golando will officiate. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 11 to 1 p.m., two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Willowbrook Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe account has been established for Sylus and Maximus Killion.
