Donald F. Paddock

Don was born April 4, 1959 in Westfield, NY the son of the late Donald J. and Bertha L. (Briggs) Paddock.

He was a 1977 graduate of Mayville Central School and had become an outstanding auto body repair man beginning his career

with Raynor Chrysler- Plymouth in Westfield. He held this profession at other auto shops in the area before finally starting his own repair shop at home in Portland, NY. Don had also been employed by Asplundh as a tree trimmer technician. He was very skilled with his hands and could do just about anything, from woodworking projects to building

Go-carts for his grand-kids. Most of all, Don loved spending time with his family and cherished moments with his grandchildren.

On August 30th, 1990, Don married the love of his life, Donna Hipwell, in Sherman, NY.

Donald is survived by his mother Bertha of Brocton, his loving wife Donna of Portland, his two sons, Donald J. (Emily) Paddock of Westfield and Dennis “DJ” (Candy) Abram, sister-in-law Donnilyn Mitchell of North Carolina and his 8 cherished

grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Uncles and aunts plus several nieces and nephews further survive.

In addition to his father, Don was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jonathan and Kenneth Paddock.

Family and friends may call at the MORSE Funeral Home, 51 Highland Ave., Brocton, NY on Thursday, January 2nd from 3 – 5 p.m. and attend funeral services there Friday, January 3rdat 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sandy Ball of the Fellowship Church in Brocton, NY officiating. Private burial will be in Portland Evergreen Cemetery.
