FORESTVILLE: Joyce A. Ball, 86, of Bennett State Road, Forestville, died Saturday, January 25th, 2020 at Dunkirk Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She was born in the Town of Hanover, on October 28, 1933, the daughter of the late Adelbert and Dora (Springer) Congdon.
Mrs. Ball was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1951 and worked as a Real Estate Broker for ERA Real Estate, Fredonia. She was a member of the Fredonia Garden Club and the Fredonia Exercise Club. Mrs. Ball enjoyed growing flowers.
Survivors include her husband David R. Ball, of Forestville, whom she married 67 years ago on July 17, 1952, in Forestville, a son, D. Jeffrey (Laura) Ball, of Forestville; and a sister, Carol (Kenneth) Loue, of Fairport. Also surviving are four grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a daughter Susan L. Ricotta, who died June 21, 2013 and a sister Beverly Congdon.
Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., from where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock with Rev. Michael Pollock, pastor of Gage Chapel Community Church, officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Forestville Cemetery.
