Richard C. Cybulski

Richard C. “Dick” Cybulski, 79, of Cassadaga, died Saturday evening (Aug. 22, 2020) at West-field Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

He was born June 22, 1941, in Dunkirk, the son of the late Charles and Re-gina (Michalak) Cybulski.

Richard was a graduate of Cardinal Mindszenty High School, class of 1959. He had been employed as a meat cutter at Valone Meats in Fredonia.

He was a member of Blessed Mary Angela Parish, Church of St. Hyacinth and the American Legion No. 1 in Titusville, Fla.

Survivors include his wife, Diane M. (Moran) Cybulski, whom he married Dec. 31, 1985; two daughters: Debbie (Parrish) Names and Jacque (Jeff) Brant, both of Cape Coral, Fla.; one son, Kevin Tibbitts of Fredonia; six step-children: Debra (Lance) Lewis of Westerville, Ohio, Paul Luciano of Columbus, Ohio, Linda (Richard) Orloff of Bear Lake, N.Y., Richard Luciano of Vernal, Utah, Amy (Sean) Hall of Dunkirk, and Annette Spearman and her fiance, Jack Litzenberger of Freeville, N,Y,; one sister, Judy (Dennis) Van Dette of Fre-onia; two brothers: Jack Cybulski of Vero Beach, Fla. and Fred (Christine) Cybulski of Las Vegas, Nev.; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Darcie Gaffney; and granddaughter, Christian Tibbitts.Following the guide-lines and protocols administered by the governor of New York, a memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020, at 10 a.m. in Blessed Mary Angela Parish, Church of St. Hyacinth. There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield, NY 14787.
