Thomas G. Hancock

He was born June 8, 1948, in Gowanda, N.Y. He was the son of the late George I. and Julia A. (Sek) Hancock.

Mr. Hancock was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He belonged to several sportsman’s clubs throughout the years. He had a special love for his pets.

Mr. Hancock is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Thomas F. (Heather) Hancock and their children; Lauren, Andrew and Julianna Hancock; his daughter, Melissa (Christopher) Nickson and their child; Brianna Nickson. Also survived by his beloved companion, Frances Gabel; a sister, Marilyn (Dennis) Conrad and; one niece and three nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020, at 10 a.m., in the Schindler Funeral Home, 44 Center St., Gowanda, N.Y. Face coverings and social distancing are required.
