Jose Luis Martinez
Jose Luis Martinez, 55, died at his residence in Dunkirk, N.Y., on April 30, 2021. He was born in Puerto Rico on Dec. 9, 1965, to the late Providencia Gormez. He and his siblings were raised in Dunkirk, N.Y.
He is survived by five brothers: Jose A. Martinez, Merain Martinez, Domingo Rivera, Daniel Martinez, and Miguel A. Martinez. He is further survived by his sister, Yajak Melendez; and several nieces and nephews.
Jose was a kind man who loved his family very much. He also gave back to the Dunkirk Community by volunteering to help with various festivals. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Jose’s funeral service will be held, Friday, May 7, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Sheridan, N.Y.
