Patricia Ann Kozlowski
Patricia Ann Kozlowski, 90, of Dunkirk, died July 2, after an extended illness at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Patricia was born March 18, 1931, in Dunkirk, to the late Casimir and Mary (Witkowski) Marczynski.
She worked for Dunkirk ALCO and Ames Department Store.
Well known for her love of knitting and crocheting, which won her many honors and awards at the Chautauqua County Fair.
Patricia married her husband, the late Richard Kozlowski, Sr. on Aug. 22, 1953. They were married for 32 years when he passed away on June 2, 1986.
Survived by her two sons: Richard Kozlowski, Jr. and Kenneth (Susan) Kozlowski; two grandchildren: Kayleigh (Michael) Schwertfager and Kenneth (Kathy) Kozlowski; As well as two great-granddaughters: Natalie and Hilarie Schwertfager; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her infant son,Joseph Kozlowski; her siblings: Viola Kaus, Agnes Piskorski, Hattie Zielinski, Edward Marczynski, Victoria Bielecki, Tessie Dykas, Joseph Marczynski (infant) and Blanche Goss.
Relatives and friends may call today from 4-7 p.m., at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Interment will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.
