Allan B. Van Etten

He was born July 13, 1942, in Gowanda, the son of the late Charles and Florence (Link) Van Etten.

Mr. Van Etten was a self-employed custom grain farmer and had worked as a millwright. He also worked as a court guard for Cattaraugus County.

He took great pride in his property, children and racing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia (Hilton) Van Etten; and his six children and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides his parents she was predeceased by a sister, Linda Lee Van Etten.

A celebration of Allan’s life will be held at a later date at the family home.

Memorial s may be made to the charity of the donors choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home Inc, 105 E. Main St., in Gowanda.
