Christopher Scott Nowak
Christopher Scott Nowak, 56, of Sherrills Ford, NC was called to Heaven on September 21, 2021. Chris was born on December 18, 1964 in Buffalo, NY to Ronald Nowak (Patricia Zaprzal-Nowak deceased).
Chris attended Silver Creek Central High (class of 1983), attended SUNY at Fredonia, graduated with a Master of Science from SUNY Buffalo, and went on to study for his Doctorate. Chris retired from the Army a helicopter pilot and Army Captain, and was Director of DevOps Advisory & Adoption for HCL America for the latter part of his career.
Chris is survived by his wife, Cheryl Skalyo Nowak, their two sons, Christopher Wallace Nowak (23) and Griffin Arleighton Nowak (19). He is also survived by his only sibling Kim Fritschi (Gregory), Father Ron Nowak (Martha), Stepfather James Read (Mary), Stepsister Melissa Read, Father-in-law Wallace Skalyo (Bonnie), Mother-in-law (Karen Skalyo), Sister-in-law Kris-tin Whitford (Timothy), Brother-in-law Wally Skalyo (Cynthia), Brother-in-law Gary Skalyo and beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will take place at West End Inn, Hamburg, NY on November 13th from 2-5 pm. Family and close friends are invited.
