John C. Sauer

He was born Oct. 10, 1967, in Dunkirk, the son of the late Carl F. and Ruth A. (Hahn) Sauer.

John was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fredonia. He enjoyed attending local sporting events, local events, and riding his bike with his mother, Ruth.

Survivors include his brother-in-law, Kenneth Karsten of Newburgh; and nephew, Aaron Karsten of New Kensington, Pa.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Monica Karsten; and niece, Sarah Karsten.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m., at Willowbrook Park Cemetery, Dunkirk. The Rev. Alex Knowles will officiate.
