Rita A. Guzzetta

She was born in Hortonville, Wis., on Nov. 12, 1922, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin (Burnette Rusch) Gitter.

She is survived by two brothers: Peter and Thomas; six decease brothers; Philip, James, Lawrence, Richard, Francis and David.

Mrs. Guzzetta served in the U.S. Navy. She worked at Red Wing for 20 plus years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Church and the Legion.

She enjoyed reading and playing pinnacle.

She was married on Dec. 25, 1943, to her husband Dominic J. Guzzetta, who died on Sept. 10, 1980.

She is survived by her two daughters: Mrs. Ronald (Donna) Rusch of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Howard (Kathleen) Falco of Dunkirk, N.Y. She had seven grandchildren: Dianna (David) Stanton, Dr. Michael (Rosie) Slate, Denise (Greg) Magnus, Darren Slate, Rita Zambotti, Robin (Kevin) Killion (both deceased), and Richard Falco. She had 11 great-grand- hildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Her dog, Mindy never left her side.

A memorial service will be held in Fredonia in July 2022
