Beverley J. Mulkin

Beverley J. Mulkin, 80, of Fredonia passed away Wednesday morning September 14, 2022.

She was born Feb. 14, 1942 in Brocton, the daughter of the late DeForest and Gladys (Farnham) Woleben.

A lifelong resident of the area, Beverley was a graduate of Brocton High School, class of 1960. She had been employed as a loan officer and branch manager for Lake Shore Savings for 59 years. Upon her retirement, she volunteered as an usher for SUNY Fredonia performances and assisted with church dinners.

Beverley was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church and had also been a member of the Rotary Club and Kiwanis Club.

Survivors include two sons, Kevin (Beth) Mulkin and Chad (Tracy) Mulkin, both of Fredonia; five grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Mulkin, Christopher (Cali) Mulkin, Jeffrey (Laura) Mulkin, Elena Mulkin, and James Mulkin; three great grandchildren, Caden Mulkin, Tenley Mulkin, and Levi Mulkin; two sisters, Janice (Chuck) Newman and Deborah (Dave) Willey; brother-in-law Bruce (Ann) Mulkin and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Mulkin, who died Jan. 9, 2015; one brother, Donald (Nancy) Woleben; and her furry companions Mandy, Katie, Nutmeg, and Emma.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, Sept. 18, from 2-6 p.m. at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 145 E. Main St., Fredonia. Burial will be in Webster Road Cemetery, town of Pomfret. Memorials may be made to the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, 7540 North Gale Street, Westfield, NY 14787.
