On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, John J. Reed, 66, of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Fredonia, NY, passed away peacefully after a short battle with metastatic prostate cancer. He was the son of the late Malcom C. (John) and Betsy Reed. He is survived by his children, Andrew, Samantha and Robert Reed, stepchildren Brad and Brita Abram, siblings Thomas Reed, Karen Kearns and Mary Dempsey. He was predeceased by his sister Virginia Passafaro.
John was a former Vice President with ECR International in Dunkirk. John was very active in his faith-based group, Men Passionate about Christ in Melbourne, and was a mentor and friend to all who knew him.
A celebration of life was held at the Church at Viera in Viera, FL on Tuesday, October 25. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in his name to MPACT Ministries, 4450 Portage Trail, Melbourne, FL. 32940
