Stella M. Mapel

Stella was born on May 16, 1936 to parents Antonius and Maria Mlynarski.

Stella graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1955, and later moved to Fredonia where she raised her family. She was a hard-working woman and devoted her life to her children, who appreciate all that she did for them. She enjoyed gardening and loved planting trees in her yard. Stella was an animal lover and enjoyed her dogs, especially her special dog Lucky, who was indeed the luckiest dog in the world to have her love and attention.

She is preceded by her parents, her brother Leo Mlynarski, her daughter Karen O’Sullivan, and her granddaughter Brooke Pomroy.

She is survived by her son Bruce Mapel, and her daughters Diane Heins, Kristin Pomroy, and Jill Guerra, as well as 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was loved dearly by all of her family and will be missed.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
