Ruth Arlene Salhoff, 96, of Holly Springs, NC passed away peacefully in her home on December 2, 2023. Ruth was the matriarch of the family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Dean (Bill), and sons Don Salhoff (Pat) and Ken Salhoff (Jan), 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Clara (Kono) Dopler, her husband of 64 years Paul Salhoff, her daughter Barb Sandeen, and grandson Jeff Salhoff.
Ruth was passionate about life, which showed in her devotion to her family, activities, hobbies and work.
A family and friends service was held in NC in December 2023 to honor Ruth’s life. Additionally, a family and friends service will be held in the springtime in Dunkirk, NY.
