Sharon R. Rowland, nee Butcher

Sharon lived a life full of warmth and care, creating a legacy of unconditional love and cherished memories for all who knew her. With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a devoted mother, grandmother, companion, and friend, whose vibrant spirit and kind heart touched numerous lives.

Sharon was welcomed into heaven by her adoring husband, Brinton F. Rowland, who predeceased her in 2004, her steadfast parents, Roger and Lila Butcher, her beloved siblings, Patricia Koch and Richard Butcher, her loving son-in-law, Robert Taber, and her cherished grandson, Aaron Spencer.

Sharon’s memory is honored and celebrated by her children: Ella Bentalha, Sherry Taber, Brinton (Annette) Rowland, and Brenda (Jeff) Dietrich. Her lineage flourishes through her 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom inherited her generous spirit and capacity for compassion. Her brother, Darwin Butcher, her companion Richard Waite and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, also survive her, carrying forward the light of her presence. Before her retired life, Sharon embraced the role of a homemaker with grace and dedication, her care serving as the foundation of her family’s well-being. Her hobbies of crocheting and knitting, love of music, and enjoyment of furry friends reflected her diverse interests and her sense of humor, which remained a source of joy for those around her. Sharon’s ability to love beyond measure, with a heart that saw only the good in people, remains her most loving legacy. Her lasting influence on our lives will forever be cherished, as we remember her fondly for the love and warmth she so freely gave.
