Margaret F. (Smith) Gloss
Margaret F. (Smith) Gloss, 85, of Dunkirk, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Brooks Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Dunkirk on September 8, 1939, Wife of the late Richard H. Gloss and Daughter of the late Richard Smith and Helen Whalen.
Margaret attended Dunkirk High School and graduated in 1957. She devoted her life to her role as a homemaker nurturing and supporting her loved ones over the years.
Survivors include her son Shaun E. Gloss and her daughter Shellee Berringer; grandchildren Kaitlyn (Jordan) Gaudy, Danielle, Rachel, Cole, Samantha, Chad, and Melissa Gloss. She is also survived by many close friends.
Preceding Margaret is her husband Richard H. Gloss who passed away on July 24, 2020; sons Steven C. and Scott M. Gloss; parents Richard Smith and Helen Whalen.
Funeral Services will be held in private at the convenience of the family. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
