Connie Jean Josephson

Connie will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 60 years, Almet “Toots” Josephson of Rockledge, FL, her daughter Laurie (Arthur) Franklin of Forestville, and son Kevin(Ruth) of Viera FL, as well as her grandchildren, Stacy, Allen, Jason, Jessica, Michael and Gabriella.

Connie was born in Atlantic City, NJ in 1944 and moved with her family, father Glenn Cady and mother Claudia Penhollow to Western NY where they made their home in Cassadaga. Connie was a graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School class of 1963 and attended SUNY Fredonia. She was a long-time employee of SUNY Fredonia as a computer operator retiring in 2001.

Connie was a lifetime member of the Cassadaga Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, She was an avid reader, loved to travel and watch classic movies.

She will be remembered as always having a smile on her face and her tendency to talk your ear off.

Connie is also survived by her brother James (Patricia) of Mooresville, NC; sister-in-law Barbara Cady of Cassadaga and joins her mother, father and brother Gary Cady in heaven.

Visitation 11am Monday, Dec. 2, in Park United Methodist Church, 25 Maple Ave., Cassadaga with a celebration of life service commencing at 1 pm., Burial in Cassadaga Cemetery.
