Loretta Jane Steinmetz

Collins, NY — Loretta Jane Steinmetz ,91, of Collins, NY passed away Thursday December 12, 2024 at her home.

She was born Nov. 1, 1933 in Gowanda, NY the only child of Veto and Antonina (Ortlando) Steinmetz.

On October 30, 1954 she married her late husband Robert F. Steinmetz, they shared 69 years together until his passing in June.

Mrs. Steinmetz worked for the Eden Middle School as a Librarian Aide for 25 years and she was an avid book reader.

Mrs. Steinmetz was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be truly missed.She was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s RC Church in Gowanda,NY.

She is survived by 2 sons Robert (Patrice) Steinmetz and Ronald (Patricia) Steinmetz Sr. and a daughter Kim Steinmetz.Also surviving are 3 grandchildren Ronald (Megan) , Stefanie (Nathan) and Megan and a great grandchild Eden.

Private family service will be held.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s RC Church.
