Gowanda – Toni J. Williams, 80, of Gowanda, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Brooks Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 24, 1944 in Gowanda, daughter of the late Jerry and Nancy (Burr) Plummer.

Toni enjoyed doing various crafts, cooking and baking, always to give away, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed taking road trips, both long and short, to admire the beauty of nature and the wildlife along the way. She was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation, Wolf Clan, as well as a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, where she enjoyed the lessons, activities, and all of her church family. Toni worked at several different jobs, both locally and in the city, including the Buffalo Ford Plant.

Toni was the mother of Ronald “Brook” (Carolyn) Williams, Wade “Sam” Williams, and Anthony “Ani” Williams, all of the Cattaraugus Reservation. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one sister, Jackie Bennett of Irving, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Toni is predeceased by a brother, Jerry Plummer Jr., and five sisters; Elizabeth Huff, Patricia Jimerson, Sue Gates, Carole Jonathan, and Geraldine Gates.

Friends may call on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 4-8 pm from Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main St. in Gowanda.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11 am from the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 12557 Route 438 Irving, NY.
