Frances V. (Villafrank) Dolce

Forestville — Frances V. (Villafrank) Dolce, 95, of Forestville, passed away Wednesday, December, 18, 2024 at Brooks Memorial Hospital. Born on November 16, 1929 in Forestville, wife of the late Leon J. Dolce and daughter of the late Samuel and Josephine (Militello) Villafrank.

Frances graduated from Forestville High School in 1946 and she went on to become a teacher after graduating from Fredonia College in 1950. She started teaching in North Collins from 1951-1952. Ultimately she taught 5th grade at Forestville Elementary School from 1953 to her retirement in 1991.

Frances was a Methodist Church organist from 1950-2015 and she was also an accomplished musician. Family was always important to her and she wanted the best for her children and she also felt the same way for her many students over the years.

Despite some health problems later on in life, she always provided her children with love. How do you begin to relate all the memories of your mother’s and father’s lives? Just remember and honor them while they are with you, as Exodus 20:12 relates, “Honor your father and mother so that you may live a long time…”

Frances is survived by her two sons, Arthur and Edward Dolce, both of Forestville and a grandson, Anthony Dolce of West Seneca.
