Howard R. Fellenz, Jr., 93, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at Fredonia Place, Fredonia, N.Y. after a long illness.

Born Nov. 13, 1932, in Houston, TX, son of the late Howard Sr. and Viva Fellenz.

He was a machinist at American Optical Co. in Cheektowaga and a manager and inspector for the company.

Howard and his late wife Mary Jane lived in Williamsville, N.Y.

He’s survived by his son Michael (Monica) Fellenz of Irving, and his daughter Karen (John) Flanigan of Fredericksburg, VA; one sister Patricia Fellenz of Ransomville, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Howard is preceded in death by his son: Robert Fellenz formerly of Lockport, N.Y.

Funeral service and Internment will be private for the family. Final resting place in Acadia Park Cemetery, Tonawanda, N.Y.
