Karen Ayers

She was born May 26, 1938 in Springville, NY the daughter of the late Harold and Evelyn (Spaulding) Rogers.

Mrs. Ayers was married to Ross Ayers who predeceased her in 2021.

She was a Registered Nurse having worked as a surgical nurse at Buffalo General Hospital and as a nurse at Lakeshore Hospital. She retired after many years from JN Adam as the Director of Nursing.

She was heavily involved in the United Methodist Church and the Lion’s Club.She also volunteered at LOVE Inc. in Gowanda.

Mrs. Ayers is survived by 2 daughters Robin (Ricky Freeman) Covert of Gowanda, NY and Jodi (Steven) Post of Ohio and a son Jason (Hilary) Covert of Nevada also 2 grandchildren Joshua and Adreanna and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 2 brothers Richard and Gary Rogers.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday January 11, 2025 at 11am from Mentley Funeral Home Inc. 105 East Main Street in Gowanda, NY .

Burial will be in Collins Center Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Collins Center United Methodist Church or LOVE Inc.
