Timothy John Blodgett

Timothy John Blodgett

Timothy John Blodgett, 78, of Flower Mound, Texas, formerly of Cassadaga, NY, passed away on December 26, 2024. He was born on June 3, 1946, in Jamestown, NY, to Edward and Elizabeth (King) Blodgett.

He grew up on his family’s farm in Charlotte Center, NY, where his love of horses began. Tim graduated from Cassadaga Valley Central School in 1964 and attended Jamestown Community College. His most fulfilling work experience was his time as owner of Payne Supply, Co. on Rt 60 in Cassadaga where he worked with and served so many friends and acquaintances throughout the Chautauqua County community.

Tim’s most cherished memories were of his time at “Payne’s,” raising his children on Cassadaga Lake, golfing with friends, taking pictures of Texas Bluebonnets, road trips throughout the country with his grandchildren, and casino-hopping and cruising with his wife of 58 years, Anna-Mary. He remained a devoted Buffalo Bills fan, rooting for them every game, even if his time in Texas did cause him to occasionally support the Cowboys.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Albert King Blodgett.

He is survived by his wife, Anna-Mary (Donaldson) Blodgett, his son Edward Blodgett, his daughter, Kimberly (Eric) Nickerson, and his grandchildren, Tristan and Garett Blodgett, all of Texas.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
