Eileen Therese Abram Beichner

Eileen Therese Abram Beichner

This dedication is in loving memory of our family’s heart: Eileen Therese Abram Beichner–she was a beacon of grace, strength, and patience–whose life was a tapestry of devotion, love and humble service to all of her friends and family.

Born on Jan. 12, 1957, to David and Erika Abram, Eileen began her lifelong journey with a gentle spirit and a determined heart. At just 16, she began a partnership with John Beichner, the man who would be her lifelong love. Together they built a family founded on kindness and togetherness. The family motto, “Beichners stick together.” As a devoted wife, an active member of her church, an amazing teacher’s aid, loyal friend, and a nurturing mother of four, she filled our lives with unwavering support, gentle guidance, and an ever-present smile.

Her career as a teacher’s aide, in several special education classrooms, spanned over three decades, during which she touched countless lives with compassion and patience. Beyond the classroom, her legacy was baked into every chocolate chip cookie, every festive Christmas treat plate and the piles of gifts under the tree for each grandchild, every canned jar of pickles or jams, and her famous pies — all delicious symbols of her generous spirit that everyone who knew her eagerly anticipated. Whether she was preparing a meal that brought loved ones and friends together around her bustling kitchen table to nurture us, or sharing her beautiful voice at church and weddings, she infused every moment with a quiet and graceful love.

Her faith and dedication to her church mirrored her commitment to community and family. Even in the face of life’s challenges, including a brave battle with cancer, she never wavered. Instead, she found solace in the simple joys of reading on her front porch or sharing laughter and stories at family dinners with her children and grandchildren. She didn’t command or instruct; she listened with a compassionate heart, offering quiet nudges that always steered us in the right direction. Her strength in all things will continue to be an inspiration to us.

Her husband often said, “They don’t make them like your mother,” a testament to the unique, irreplaceable love she brought into every relationship. She held our family together with a humble strength, leaving behind a legacy of devotion and care that lives on in her husband, John Beichner, her four children and their significant others, Christine Beichner-Miller (John Miller), Jason Beichner (Jenny Beichner), Erika Beichner-Remington (Jeff Remmington), and Collin Beichner (Brynn Pagett); her six grandchildren, John T. Beichner, Harmony Remington, Nora Beichner, Willow Remington, Ethan Miller, and Delilah Remington; her two brothers, Brian Abram (Betsey Abram) and Shawn Abram (Jackie Abram), brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins, nephews, and nieces who were blessed to know her. She was proceeded in death by her mother (Erika Abram) and father (David Abram) as well as her brother (Dennis Abram) who she believed would be waiting for her with open arms.

Though she has departed from this world, her spirit, kindness, and the memories she created will forever be our guiding light. We will continue to honor her legacy in every act of love and every shared meal, every cookie that we bake, and every kindness we show. We will always remember that her life was a beautiful example of how simple moments, when filled with love, can become extraordinary.

You are forever in our hearts.
