Judy Ann Ciddo, 79, of Brocton, NY passed away Friday February 7, 2025 at Absolut Care Of Westfield with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 13, 1945, the daughter of the late Claude and Thelma (Reese) Brooks.
Judy grew up in Brocton, NY, graduating from Brocton Central School. She worked briefly at the former Niagara Therapy Manufacturing Plant in Brocton and began raising her family. Several years later she moved her family to Vancouver, British Columbia, where she worked as the bookkeeper for her former husband’s masonry business. After moving back to Brocton, she worked in the kitchen at the former Chautauqua County Home, in the jewelry department at the former Hills Department Store, and as an aide in The Education and Transportation Departments at the Resource Center, all in Dunkirk, NY. She retired in 2010.
She had a passion for collecting jewelry and could often be found hunting for the perfect piece to add to her collection. Judy loved spending time with her family, as well as camping and going on motorcycle rides with her life partner Chuck. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and impeccable sense of style.
Judy is survived by her longtime companion Charles Trombetta, a brother Thomas Brooks; daughters, Caroline (Dale) West, Josephine Ciddo, Connie (Mark Maytum) Brooker, and Justine (Paul) Taylor; grandchildren Juliana (Jeremie) Krauter, Ashley (Richie) Lazarczyk, Mya West, Chance West, Christopher Brooker, Jena Brooker, and Reese Ciddo; great grandchildren; Nevaeh Krauter, Jordis Krauter, Khloe Krauter, Keegan Krauter, Caidence Sprague, Dakotah Sprague, Caleb Sprague, Madison Sprague and Sofia Holmes. She is also survived by several cousins.
In addition to her parents, Judy is predeceased by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends and family may call Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 from 5pm-8 pm at Morse Funeral Home, 51 Highland Ave, Brocton, NY where a funeral service will be held Thursday February 27th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at the Brocton American Legion.
Private Interment will be held in the spring at Portland Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brocton Fire Department, 80 Lake Ave, Brocton, NY.
