Kathleen (Lisi) Smith

Kathy was known for her fiery red hair and her spirit, she had an appreciation for physical fitness and was a long time aerobics instructor, but most of all, it was her love for her family which shined the brightest. Spending time with her husband and family was her ultimate goal.

After leaving Fredonia, she moved to Georgia for many years, where she worked as an administrative assistant at Brand Real Estate Services. After retirement, she moved to Florida where she enjoyed the much warmer climate and the prolonged sunny days.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, James Smith, with whom she shared 56 years of love, companionship and marriage with. He has been by her side every step of the way and they were each other’s world; her children, Melissa (Darrin) Bradley of Monroe, Georgia, Amy Waite of Delray, Florida, and Joshua Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; her niece, Cherish (Robert) Mignoli of Fredonia; jher brothers, Louis Lisi of Fredonia and Michael (Sue) Lisi of Florida; her three grandchildren, Brittney (Russ) Yerger-Moe, Morgan and Tyler Mathis; and her two-great-grandchildren Jensen and Wolf Yerger-Moe.

She was preceded by her parents, Joseph and Betty Lisi and her brother Richard Lisi and several aunts and uncles.

She gave her love freely and had such a big heart. Her spirit shined through us all. She was truly loved by her family and will be profoundly and forever missed.

A private gathering for family will be held at a later date.
