Carol J. Gregory, a cherished presence in the lives of her family and friends, passed away on March 17, 2025, in Dunkirk, NY, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on July 1, 1939, in Westfield, NY, Carol was a figure of unwavering support and kindness.

With a life that spanned 85 years, Carol’s journey was marked by devotion to her family and community.

Preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Richard E. Gregory, her parents, Theodore and Marion (Thompson) Robleski, and her sister Shirley,

Carol’s memory will be honored by those who knew her best. She is survived by her loving children: Judith (Brian) Haskin, Jacqueline (Michael) Kucharski, and Jonathan (Beth) Gregory; her cherished grandchildren: Benjamin (Linnea) Haskin, Jacob (Sarah) Haskin, Patrick Haskin and Molly Kucharski; and her dear sisters, Elsie Gustafson and Lynn Utegg.

In her professional life, Carol dedicated many years as a teacher’s assistant at Brocton Central Schools, where she touched the lives of countless students with her patience and care. Her personal life was brimming with passions, including cheering for the Cleveland Indians, engaging in lively card games and Scrabble matches, and delighting in the company of her sisters and grandchildren. A nature lover, Carol’s adoration for birds and cats was well known, just as the affectionate nicknames “Beeb” and “Chom,” lovingly bestowed by her grandchildren, echoed the warmth and humor she brought into their lives.

Carol J. Gregory’s kindness, spirit, and joy will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Chautauqua and Nursing and Rehab especially on floor 1A.

Relatives and friends may visit Morse Funeral Home 51 Highland Ave. Brocton, NY Friday March 21, 2025 from 1PM to 4PM where a funeral service will immediately follow.

Interment will be in Portland Evergreen Cemetery,
