Carol Jacqueline Augat, 91, passed away of a sudden illness on Sunday April 13, 2025. Born July 27, 1933 in Attleboro, MA, the daughter of Edward John and Flora Florence (Simoneau) Pucko. Carol loved family and being with her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed attending all their activities and cheering them on. Her last several years living at St. Columban’s were filled with enjoyment of walks to the lake, puzzles, special events/activities and friendships with staff and residents.
She is survived by her daughters Catherine Scarano and her husband Wayne, Dianne Malehorn, Donna Roth and her husband Carl, Cindy Regnante and her husband Keith; grandchildren Ryan Malehorn and his wife Kate Krassowski, Kayla Malehorn, Tyler Roth, Nicole Roth, Charlie Roth and his wife Kolbi, Catie Roth, Abby Roth, Allison Regnante, and Julia Regnante.
Carol is predeceased by her husband Donald Francis Augat, and her sister Doris Gagnon.
The family is very grateful to St. Columban’s on the Lake for being like family and making Carol’s last years so fulfilling.
Funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s memory to St. Columban’s on the Lake, 2546 Lake Road, Silver Creek, New York 14136.
