David C. Earle

David was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1956 and received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Fredonia State University. He worked as an Instrumental Music Teacher for West Seneca Central Schools for 33 years, was a Proprietor of the Hamburg Model Railroad Station, and a Choir Director.

David was a Man of God, and a Servant of God. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed teaching instrumental music to children, and loved to travel. David was a Master of Model Railroading and a Professional Antique Furniture Restorer. As an advocate and champion for individuals with Developmental Disabilities, he helped start several Group Homes. “He accomplished his mission.”

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Susan (McDuffee) Earle of Forestville, whom he married on Dec. 23, 1966 in the East Leon Wesleyan Church, and a son Nathan (Lisa) Earle, of West Seneca. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Evan and Ellie Earle, Madeline Kandefer and Olivia, Emily and Ethan Dearlove; nephews Andrus and Earle Houck, along with four nieces, two other nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son, Jeremy David Earle, who died Dec. 18, 2012, and a sister Barbara Houck, who died in 2013.

There will be a Private Celebration of Life held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made either to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750, or Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC), 15 West Main St., Gowanda, NY 14070.
