Sore losers continue futile efforts

I wanted to write something this week that had no connection to politics but the continuing effort on the part of Democrats to block the agenda that in large part got President Donald Trump elected became hard to ignore. Democrats should remember the words of Barack Obama in 2009 when he reminded Republicans that elections have consequences.

Democratic “judge shopping’ to block efforts by the Trump administration to root out corruption and waste In the federal government continues. It appears that Democrats support waste and corruption in government. Is there something the Democrats don’t want us to know?

Some are wondering if the Biden administration siphoned off more than just FEMA funds to care for illegal aliens with other federal programs also being looted.

The worst example of judge shopping led to the action by U.S. District Judge James Boasberg that granted an emergency order on March 15 to temporarily block the flights of members of the Trene de Aragua gang to El Salvador from taking place for 14 days while his court considered the legality of using the 1798 wartime-era Alien Enemies Act. Before the judge issued his order stopping the flights, two had already left US airspace. Near the end of a hearing on Friday, March 21 he vowed that he would get to the bottom of whether his verbal order was violated, if so who ordered it and what the consequences will be. Without explanation he also accused the Department of Justice of using intemperate language in its court filings.

While Boasberg is depicted by the national media as a well-respected judge who “plays it down the middle” both he and his wife are active in and donate to the Democratic Party. During the Clinton campaign inspired “Russia Gate” insanity he was the presiding judge of the FISA Court who issued a warrant based on questionable probable cause that led to the surveillance of Carter Page for two years. He also presided over several of the Jan. 6 trials and was noted for giving longer sentences than the prosecution sought and he once told an acquaintance that he agreed that politicians who falsely claimed the election was stolen should be “ashamed of themselves.” It’s obvious that he has a bias against Trump and to spite Trump he apparently favors keeping these illegal alien rapists, murderers, and thieves in our nation.

Other Trump executive orders have also been blocked including, to name a few, executive orders to freeze foreign aid and dissolve USAIDS, end birthright citizenship, end support for gender affirming care, ban transgender people from serving in the military, and end government DEI efforts.

Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution begins with these words: “The executive power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.” The real issue is can a single federal judge issue a court order that affects the entire nation with the unspoken yet real intent of thwarting that executive power. I believe the answer is clear and must be dealt with quickly by the Supreme Court.

In the meantime, the national media continues attempting to scare the public with talk of a constitutional crisis because the Trump administration is fighting these judicial rulings. However, they neglect to tell us that the greatest constitutional crisis in recent memory was Joe Biden’s ignoring of the Supreme Court’s decision that his student loan forgiveness program was unconstitutional.

Meanwhile in the background Democrats and their lackeys in the national media keep trying to scare us by telling us that Social Security benefits along with Medicare, Medicaid, veterans benefits, and a host of other programs will be cut while not providing a shred of evidence. If it’s not cuts in programs they revert to the typical Democratic mantra that Trump tax cuts will only help the rich.

Finally, the vilification of Elon Musk is getting out of hand. He came to this nation from South Africa because he realized that the United States was the place he could achieve his dreams. He is a unique individual, and we are lucky to have him here. Musk has founded, invested in and developed several companies that operate in various industries, including SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, OpenAI, and The Boring Company. These companies are involved in some of the largest and most important areas of human endeavor that include Automotive, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Energy, Transportation, Tunneling, AI, and Healthcare. In the United States he employs nearly 140,000 persons.

The joy that some, like Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, and Actor John Cusack, take in attacks on Tesla dealerships, the destruction of Tesla vehicles, and threats to innocent Tesla owners is insane and has to stop before someone gets hurt.

He is the guiding spirit of DOGE, but he is not in it for the money or to garner government contracts for his companies because he had those long before DOGE. He is doing this job because he agrees with the President that to make America great again our government must be streamlined with waste and fraud eliminated so that it can better protect and serve the American people and pay down the national debt.
