Anthony was a three-year starter as a first baseman and a pitcher for the Fredonia Hillbillies. He was a two-year captain for his father, Fredonia head coach Vince Gullo. Also a varsity football player and unified bowling team member, Anthony plans to attend the University at Buffalo to major in physics.

EDITOR’S NOTE: With the 2020 spring sports season officially canceled, the OBSERVER has decided to honor senior athletes who were unable to properly finish out their high school athletic careers.

The OBSERVER Senior Send-offs will run periodically throughout the summer to honor local seniors from the 11 high schools in the OBSERVER coverage area: Brocton, Cassadaga Valley, Chautauqua Lake, Dunkirk, Forestville, Fredonia, Gowanda, North Collins, Pine Valley, Silver Creek and Westfield.
