Dunkirk, Fredonia girls post soccer wins

Behind three goals and an assist from Lauryn McCracken, Dunkirk downed Silver Creek/Forestville 5-0 in a nonleague game.

Sierra Jacques contributed a goal and two assists; Angelina Piede added a goal and an assist; and Tayler Skelly chipped in an assist for the winners.

Gianna Santiago made four saves for the Marauders.

FREDONIA PREVAILS

WESTFIELD — Annie Gondek recorded a hat trick and Ella Koopman dished out a pair of assists to highlight Fredonia’s 6-1 nonleague victory over Westfield/Brocton.

Also aiding the Hillbillies’ cause were Anna Normand, Allie Pchelka and Sophia Gullo with a goal apiece. Mariella Russo, Ava Rukavina and Rylee Beers each had an assist for Fredonia (3-1) in support of keeper Sarah Davis, who made five saves.

Carley Wilson, assisted by Naomi Ottey, was credited with the lone goal for the Wolverines (1-3). Emma Busuladzic made nine saves.

GOLDEN COUGARS ROLL

Falconer/Cassadaga Valley scored four goals in each half on its way to an 8-2 nonleague victory over Maple Grove.

Kayla Lynn and Julianna Roth led the way.

Lynn scored two goals and had three assists, while Roth added a pair of goals to help the Golden Cougars improve to 3-1.

Katelyn Hagstrom, Eliza Andersen, Andrea Johnson and Emiley Anderson all added a goal, and Anderson and Bailey Olson were credited with an assist.

Ellyson Baglia was credited with seven saves for the winners.

Lily McPherson and Mckenzie Wadsworth tallied a goal apiece for the Red Dragons (0-3). Morgan Caldwell and Madilyn Seastrum were credited with assists.

BEARS PITCH SHUTOUT

FREWSBURG — Alex Hultberg tallied a pair of goals and added an assist to highlight Frewsburg’s 8-0 nonleague girls victory over Southwestern.

The Bears (4-0) scored five times in the first half and three more times after intermission in support of keeper Braelyn Stelmack, who made three saves.

The other Frewsburg players to find the back of the net were Aleah Bjork, who had two goals; and Kaydan Bush, Kealy Caflisch, Kaylee Cappa and Ava Jimerson, who collected one apiece.

Ava Jimerson, Taytum Jimerson, Ashlyn Samuelson and Audrey Eckwahl all chipped in an assist.

MIMS SHINES FOR RAIDERS

Jamestown improved to 3-1 following an 8-0 nonleague victory over Pine Valley/Gowanda.

And Karryne Mims had herself a day.

Mims scored three goals and dished out two assists while teammate Quinn Johnson added a pair of goals in support of keepers McKenna Cuifolo and Kayla Eddy.

Marcia McIntyre, Ella Propheter and Nayla Torres also contributed goals for the Red Raiders, while Julia Smith chipped in two assists and Propheter and Madison Burgess had one apiece.

The Red Raiders scored five goals in the first half and three more after the break.

Destiny Lindquist and Arryanna Bardo combined for nine saves in net for the Panthers.

T’WOLVES WIN

NORTH COLLINS — Madison Spink, Evelyn Janora and Rebekah Butcher each found the back of the net to lead unbeaten Cattaraugus-Little Valley to a 3-1 victory over North Collins in nonleague game.

Olivia Seiflein chipped in an assist for the Timberwolves (3-0) in support of keeper Onalee Osgood, who made seven saves.

North Collins, which received a goal from Breanna Kaczanowski, drops to 0-2. Hailey Jasinski and Meadow Mitchell shared the goalkeeping duties.

BOYS

TROJANS DOWN GOLDEN COUGARS

Connor Young collected a pair of goals and James Pirrello added a goal and an assist as Southwestern knocked Cassadaga Valley/Falconer in a nonleague boys soccer game on Saturday.

Alex Reynolds was credited with the Golden Cougars’ goal.

The Trojans improve to 3-1 while Cassadaga Valley/Falconer falls to 1-2-1.

FREDONIA, MG TIE

Sam Murphy found the back of the net, assisted by Lucas Hoffman, as Fredonia tied Maple Grove 1-1 in a nonleague game.

Jonah Foley tallied a goal, assisted by Eli Moore, for the Red Dragons.

Andrew Cowan was in net for the Hillbillies.
