ONTARIO CENTER — The Fredonia cross country teams were in action Saturday at the Wayne Eagles Invitational at Wayne High School.

Both the boys and the girls finished ninth with over 20 teams competing.

For the boys, eighth-grader Trenton Krenzer finished 13th in 18:45 followed by 29th-place Cameron Patternosh, 41st-place Adam Lesch, 88th-place Matthew Brown and 104th-place James Fagan for 264 points.

“Trent Krenzer had a great race. He has been working incredibly hard along with Cam Patternosh and Adam Lesch,” Fredonia head coach Tom Stokes said. “Trent has great confidence as an eighth-grader and it was nice to see him run a good time in this meet. Cam and Adam also ran well on a tough course.”
