Eight Fredonia Hillbillies will be furthering their academic and athletic careers in the fall with four playing college football, two playing softball, one competing in soccer and another track another in track and field.

Both Jay Hawk and Keegan Whitfield committed to Buffalo State football and will be competing in the NCAA Division III Liberty League Conference. Matt Cash signed with SUNY Morrisville and will play football in the NCAA Division III Empire 8 Conference. Micah Davis signed with Utica University and will compete against Cash in the Empire 8 Conference.

Continuing their softball careers at the NCAA Division III level are Gaby Matos joining Hilbert College in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference and Jenna Truby committing to Fredonia State and will play in the SUNYAC.

Annie Gondek is furthering her soccer career at Nazareth University, which competes in the Empire 8 Conference at the NCAA Division III level.

Gigi Ferro’s track and field career will continue at Geneseo where she will compete in the SUNYAC at the NCAA Division III level.
