WEST ELLICOTT — Fredonia/Dunkirk/Forestville/Pine Valley’s Elizabeth Pucci-Schaefer broke a Southwestern Elementary School pool record in 1-meter diving, but Southwestern/Jamestown coasted to a 127-49 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls swimming and diving victory Thursday evening.

Pucci-Schaefer broke her own record in the diving competition, finishing with 327.67 points while teammate Ashlynn Delcamp took 9 seconds off her personal best with a second-place showing in the 500-yard freestyle.

Southwestern/Jamestown’s Sophia Cama picked up her first career victory with a time of 6:58.76 in the 500-yard freestyle.

Stella Hren claimed the 200-yard individual medley (2:43.59) and 100-yard backstroke (1:14.90) as Southwestern/Jamestown won every event except the 1-meter diving competition.
