Stuart Tool & Die A’s defeated the Express Employment Blue Jays 14-3.
Trevor Spicer pitched three solid innings to secure the win in the shortened contest, while brother Austin shared the mound duties scattering four hits and striking out four. Trevor led the Swinging A’s at the plate with three hits while Austin, Gib Stuart and Nick Luther collected two hits each to pace the A’s 16-hit offense.
Jason Tomkiewicz took the loss on the hill and Devon DeJesus had a double for the Jays.

Stuart Tool & Die A’s beat the Kosciuszko Club Phillies 8-1.
Travis Butcher tossed seven spectacular innings striking out 11 and scattering five hits. Dustin Uhlman led the A’s offense with three hits while Brian Gunnell, Trevor Spicer and Austin Spicer each had two hits to pace the 13-hit A’s.
Marquel Ruiz was the losing pitcher and also had a lead-off triple for The Doghouse.

The Express Employment Professionals Jays shutout the Jamestown Mattress Expos 7-0.
The Jays were led by the strong pitching of Xavier Negron. Xavier Negron pitched a complete game shutout which included three strikeouts while only allowing four hits on the day.
Offensively the Jays were led by Jason Tomkiewicz who had two hits, two runs, and 2 RBIs, Javy DeJesus had two hits and 2 RBIs and Raymond Taft also collected two timely hits.
Matt Hair took the loss for the Expos allowing eight total hits and striking out six.

Stuart Tool & Die A’s defeated Coughlans Pub Yankees 10-0.
The A’s continue to be in 1st place after completing round one of the season with a 6-1 record. The swinging A’s pounded out 12 hits in the 5 inning contest. Trent Gray and the Spicer Brothers Trevor and Austin all had three hits each to lead the A’s offense. Travis Butcher twirled a one-hitter with seven strikeouts on the hill. Matt Pantano had the lone Yankees’ hit and Matt Eaker was the losing pitcher.
