WATTSBURG, Pa. — Dave Young fired a 3-over 75 to lead the Asquith Senior Tour during its stop at Scenic Heights Golf Course on Monday.

Dave Wordelman and Dan Benson were both plus-7 using Stableford scoring, while Dave Bray was plus-6 in the White A Flight.

In the White B Flight, Mike Abbate shot an 88 and was plus-7. Roger Overend and Jim Hale were both plus-6.

Sam Allesi’s 81 led the Gold A Flight. Dave Allen was plus-5, Randy Carlson was plus-4 and Vern Algren was plus-3.

Fred Carder shot an 87 to lead the Gold B Flight. Ed Johnson was plus-12 and Marty Burroughs was plus-9, while Mike Peyton was plus-9.

Craig Underwood’s 89 led the Gold C Flight. Bill Davenport was plus-6, Underwood was plus-5 and Russ Vacanti was plus-4.

Tucker Underwood shot a 93 in the Gold D Flight. Ed Potter was plus-6, Lynn Butcher was plus-5 and Bruce Maacy was plus-4.

Closest-to-the-pin honors went to: Phil Benson at No. 1, Dave Bray at No. 3, Kurt Detraglia at No. 14 and Ross Cali at No. 18.

The tour will stop at Green Meadows Golf Course in North East, Pennsylvania, next Tuesday before playing at South Hills Country Club in Busti on July 15.
