Panama holds off Westfield in Division 3 volleyball
WESTFIELD — Kaitlyn Horton scored 12 kills, two blocks and 10 digs as Panama got by Westfield 25-12, 27-29, 25-22, 25-23 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 girls volleyball action on Wednesday.
Emma Cooper added 10 kills, nine digs and two aces for the Panthers (11-5, 6-3), Kiera Loberg dealt 28 assists, eight kills, six digs and two aces and Lily Hyde made five aces, six kills and three digs.
Westfield (8-5, 5-4) was led by Nahlia Douglas with seven kills and a block, Arielle Corbett scored seven kills, Avery Smith made 10 kills, Charly Mathews delivered six kills and four digs and Maddie Burgess dealt 30 assists.
BROCTON HOLDS OFF MG
ELLERY — Evie Morrison had five kills, 27 assists, four blocks, two aces and a dig to lead Brocton past Maple Grove 25-15, 22-25, 25-15, 25-14 in Division 3.
Zoe Spiller had 12 kills, five digs and three aces; Grace Spiller had two assists, 26 digs and three aces; and Lilly Zappia had nine kills, two assists, a block, two digs and four aces for the Bulldogs (4-9, 2-7).
Mady Haglund had 14 assists, a block, six digs and four aces; Bry Cornell had four kills, six blocks, nine digs and an ace; Harper Dawes had two blocks and six digs; Cambria Fiorella had six kills; Bayley Godfrey had three assists and nine digs; and Piper Faulk had two aces for the Red Dragons (2-12, 0-9).
WILDCATS SWEEP FORESTVILLE
FORESTVILLE — Emmersen Crawford scored four kills, three aces and three digs as Sherman swept Forestville 25-23, 25-19, 25-14 in Division 4.
Madison Emory scored seven aces, three kills and three digs for the Wildcats (8-7, 5-4), Kenadi Long made 16 assists, two blocks, four aces and two kills and Kelsey Wagner added six kills and two aces.
Forestville (3-11, 2-7) was led by Iris Muck with five kills, seven blocks and three aces, Megan Gruber scored two kills, two assists, one block and two digs and Kaitie LoManto dealt seven assists, six aces and two digs.
COUGARS CLAW NORTH COLLINS
SINCLAIRVILLE — Emiley Anderson had 13 kills and 11 service points to send Cassadaga Valley past North Collins 25-11, 25-15, 18-25, 25-17 in Division 4.
Hailey Anderson had 15 service points, including five aces, eight kills and 11 digs; Payton Meder had 13 service points; and Alexis Pattyson had eight assists for the Cougars (7-8, 6-3).
Morgan Kreinheder had seven kills, while Zoe Kreinheder had four kills, 10 assists and two aces for the Eagles (3-10, 2-7).

SOUTH DAYTON — Janelle Burchanowski had 25 assists, two blocks, four digs and two aces as Clymer outlasted Pine Valley for a 18-25, 25-15, 22-25, 25-14, 15-7 Division 4 victory.
Lily Johnson had 12 kills and four aces; Elli Bodamer had five kills and four digs; and Ava Nyweide had five aces and two kills for the Pirates (11-3, 9-0).
Danica Farnham had three blocks, two kills, 15 assists and 18 digs; Lizzie Roland had 22 digs, nine aces, 10 kills and two blocks; Madilynn Robertson had 23 digs, 12 assists, an ace and a kill; and Ava West had 13 kills, 12 digs and an assist for the Panthers (5-9, 3-6).
FALCONER ROLLS JAMESTOWN
JAMESTOWN — Hannah Melquist had 23 assists, five kills and three digs to lead Falconer past Jamestown 25-7, 25-8, 25-7.
Emily Zaranek had 10 kills and five aces, while Mylie Zaranek had 10 kills and six aces for the Golden Falcons (14-2, 8-2).
The Red & Green fell to 2-11 overall and 2-9 in the league
Jamestown won the jayvee match.
CARDS DEFEAT TROJANS
WEST ELLICOTT — Donnilynn Sheldon had 21 kills, seven digs, five blocks, an assist and an ace to power Randolph past Southwestern 25-19, 19-25, 25-15, 25-22 in nonleague action.
Aliza Hind had 33 assists, 14 digs, two blocks, a kill and an ace; Skylar Herington had five kills, eight digs, a block and two aces; Ryanne Bushey had eight kills and five digs; Avery Morrison made six digs and two aces; and Lilly Beaver had four aces and three digs for the Cardinals (10-3, 7-2 CCAA D2).
Bella Sirianni paced the Trojans (7-6, 5-4 CCAA D1) with 18 assists, 18 digs and three kills; Madie Burnett had 10 kills and two aces; Siri DuBois scored 10 kills, eight digs and two blocks; and Payton Swartz added 10 digs.
PANTHERS KNOCK OFF EDEN
EDEN — Gowanda topped nonleague Eden 25-15, 15-25, 25-21, 25-17.
The Panthers, who are 7-2 in Division 2, improved to 10-3 overall.
The Raiders, who are 8-0 in Erie County Interscholastic Conference Division 4, fell to 9-2 overall.
