The Section VI boys and girls soccer seeding meetings were held Saturday in anticipation of postseason play, which begins this week.

Highlighting the boys brackets from the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association are Southwestern (Class B2) and Ellicottville (Class D), which earned No. 1 seeds.

The No. 2 seeds from the CCAA are North Collins in Class D and Allegany-Limestone in Class C. Jamestown (Class AAA), Cassadaga Valley/Falconer (Class B2) and Portville (Class C) are No. 3 seeds, while Randolph is a fourth seed in Class C.

In the girls brackets, two CCAA teams — Allegany-Limestone (Class B) and Ellicottville (Class D) — are top seeds.

Claiming second seeds are Jamestown in Class AAA; Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove in Class B; Frewsburg in Class C; and North Collins in Class D. A No. 3 seed was awarded to Franklinville in Class D, while Southwestern and Portville are fourth seeds in Class B.
