OLEAN — Southwestern/Jamestown won the Division 1 title with 468 points and Frewsburg/Falconer claimed the Division 2 crown with 452 points as the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls swimming & diving championships wrapped up Friday evening.

Southwestern/Jamestown took first place in all three relays. Clarissa Hren won the 200-yard individual medley (2:19.45) and 100-yard backstroke (1:02.34), while Annalisa Krug captured the 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.73).

Sydney Frederes was Frewsburg/Falconer’s lone individual winner in the 100-yard freestyle (59.48) and her team also won the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:52.07) on Friday. On Wednesday, Elayna Pitts won the 1-meter diving competition for Frewsburg/Falconer with 474.80 points.

In Division 1, Panama/Maple Grove/Clymer/Sherman was second with 312 points, followed by Olean/Portville (252.5) and Fredonia/Dunkirk/Forestville/Pine Valley/Cassadaga Valley (239.5).

Emery Watkins won the 200-yard freestyle (2:08.18) and 100-yard butterfly (1:05.39), while Cassandra Lyon claimed the 500-yard freestyle (6:09.47) for Panama/Maple Grove/Clymer/Sherman. Olean/Portville’s Emmalie Gehm took the 50-yard freestyle (28.19) and 100-yard freestyle (1:02.80), while Elizabeth Pucci-Schaefer of Fredonia/Dunkirk/Forestville/Pine Valley/Cassadaga Valley won the 1-meter diving competition on Wednesday with 545.65 points.

Salamanca was second in Division 2 with 320 points, followed by Allegany-Limestone/Ellicottville (283), Chautauqua Lake/Westfield (146) and Franklinville (111).

Kynleigh Wass took the 200-yard freestyle (2:13.18) for Salamanca; Sammi Vecchio claimed the 200-yard individual medley (2:31.29) and 100-yard butterfly (1:03.10), and Lauryn Ball won the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.18) for Allegany-Limestone/Ellicottville; Addie Luce claimed the 50-yard freestyle (25.76) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.37) for Chautauqua Lake/Westfield; and Kayci Landow captured the 500-yard freestyle (6:14.55) for Franklinville.
