Cards, Panthers, Wolverines post boys hoops wins
RANDOLPH — Drew Hind scored 11 of his game-high 23 points in the first quarter Friday night to spark Randolph to a 69-25 boys basketball victory over Maple Grove in a nonleague game.
Hind also dished out six assists and added five steals for the Cardinals (2-1), who were the recipient of 10 rebounds from Carter Conley and seven boards from Griffin Nelson.
Camden Lombardo led the Red Dragons (0-5) with 11 points.

PANTHERS CUT DOWN COUGARS
SOUTH DAYTON — James Greene and Trent Ivett both registered double-doubles to lead Pine Valley past Cassadaga Valley 56-29 in nonleague competition.
Greene had 12 points, 10 boards, three assists and three blocks, while Ivett scored 11, hauled in 10 boards, made three steals and two blocks. Bradigan Sawyer led Pine Valley (2-2) in scoring with 13 points, four boards and three steals, Cameron Slade provided 12 points, six boards, four assists and seven steals and both Aiden Bell and Noah Frontuto dished three assists.
Cassadaga Valley (0-4) was led by Brody Hawkins with 12 points.

WOLVERINES DOMINATE ELLICOTTVILLE
WEST ELLICOTT — Carson Swanson scored 24 points, grabbed four rebounds and had five steals as Westfield breezed by Ellicottville 65-24 at the Southwestern Tournament.
Grant Beadle provided a double-double with 13 points and 10 boards for the Wolverines (5-1), while Zach Maguire hauled in 12 rebounds with four blocks and Braylon Swanson dished four assists with two steals.
Ellicottville falls to 2-2 with the loss.
