JAMESTOWN — Jordan Swanson spun a 193-215-529 for Cassadaga Valley in a 3-1 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 boys bowling win over Maple Grove on Friday at Jamestown Bowling Company.

Matt Runge had a 205-496 for the Cougars (3-9), who finished with a team linescore of 609-821-714-2,144.

Evan Steffen had a 422 for the Red Dragons (3-9), who rolled a 617-550-677-1,844.

In the girls match, Cassadaga Valley’s Emma Nickerson rolled a 187-484 in a 4-0 sweep.

The Cougars (11-1) finished with a 550-478-543-1,571.

The Red Dragons (1-11) had a 390-305-604-1,101.

FREWSBURG BEATS RED & GREEN

JAMESTOWN — Eight bowlers contributed as Frewsburg beat Jamestown 3-1 in Division 1 boys action at Jamestown Bowling Company.

Owen Eckman was the lone Bear (3-13) to bowl all three games and finished with a 400. Frewsburg’s team linescore was 549-615-711-1,875.

Diesel Cowen had a 184-479 for the Red & Green (5-11), which finished with a 647-601-589-1,837.

Victoria Higbee’s 460 led Jamestown to a 3-1 win in the girls match.

The Red & Green (8-3) finished with a 645-581-546-1,772.

Ashley Bean’s 454 paced the Bears (9-3) to a 519-572-576-1,667.
