Crews used plows to clear Highmark Stadium walkways, and the parking lots surrounding the stadium were cleared and salted prior to Sunday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. The team paid shovelers $20 per hour and also provided foot and hot drinks, but most seats remained snow-covered prior to the game.
